Jim attended the Maryland Institute, College of Art as a painting major before doing his Master's in "Art & Technology" at Goddard College. The web as we know it was just being born then and Jim was neck-deep in the code and design and chaos of it all. He worked for many years as the Technology Lead at Hamilton Partners, running the interactive side of their business before venturing out on his own and, eventually, forming Firefly with Christine Martin and Michelle Morey. | ![]() Sandy HansonAccounts/Project Manager 20 years experience in administration, the past 2 years as Firefly’s accounts manager. Sandy came to Firefly with a strong background in administration and finance, having managed programs and projects of all shapes and sizes in a twenty-year career in education. A former English teacher, Sandy sometimes still asks the other Fireflies to raise their hands when asking questions. We’re working on that.

With a lengthy career built around turning action items into results, Michelle is always there to make sure that things happen on time, on budget and exceed the client’s expectations. Not as easy as it may sound. | ![]() Jon JorczakStudio Manager Some join the PTA, some give blood, some run for public office. Jon does none of those. But he can take vague notions, idle ramblings and unsightly scrawls on cocktail napkins and transform them into works of art - with impressive metrics, of course. Working for over 10 years as designer for both print and web, Jon also has extensive experience in print production. With an attention to detail that would be considered obsessive compulsive in any other job, Jon runs the print production side of Firefly and serves as lead designer for a number of Firefly clients.
![]() Jessica Anderson-ConardProject Manager Compulsive (in a good way), Jessica is a money gal with the soul of a rock star, the brain of a bookkeeper, a keen sense of the absurd and a passion for balance. She began her professional life training in archeology, eventually leaving that to work as an administrator at the Healdsburg Animal Shelter. From there she was recruited as a project manager for Hamilton Partners Marketing, where she worked for several years before joining Firefly in 2008. These days she keeps the Firefly finances in shape and manages several clients including the Sonoma County Tourism Bureau, American AgCredit and Farm Credit West. Her process? Cypher, enumerate, calculate, tally, analyze, reckon, balance, celebrate. | ![]() Ann Kiyoko ChungGraphic Designer A native of Hawaii, Ann came to Firefly after several years in the law profession. Her passion for aesthetics became crystal clear when she realized she was kerning her legal briefs. She received training in graphic arts and design and brought those talents to Firefly, designing work for clients such as Making it Big, Safari West and the Sonoma County Vintners. Her approach to the work is an ongoing search for synthesis of logic and art. Ann also holds a third-degree black belt in karate, which tends to come in handy during client meetings. | ![]() Matt HansonGraphic Designer Matt graduated from Midwestern State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. He also played for the MSU football team, and was named All-Lone Star Conference at right tackle. Apparently he was pretty good at the sport as the Minnesota Vikings signed him to a free agent contract in 2010. So, naturally, the next step would be a career in advertising. Matt trained as a graphic artist and as a gifted young designer. A skill we have utilized with work on Making it Big, Sonoma County Winegrape Commission and American AgCredit among other Firefly clients. And, no, he doesn't have any Brett Favre stories to share.
